The organisers hand every team the components. The hull is 3D printed, and each team's design is different. Assemble it and make it yours.

Teams bid on the boat and the propeller that goes into it. How good the boat looks and how well it is made counts.

Launch into the pool arena and race. The best-built boat takes the water, and the prize.

A hardware boat race in a proper pool arena. Your team builds its own boat on the spot. The organisers supply the components, and the hull is 3D printed, with a different design for each team.
Teams bid for the boat and its propeller, and the build is judged on how good the boat looks and how well it is made. Then it goes into the water and races.
